
Ryan and Laura Shible
PUEBLA, Mexico — The wedding of Laura Iliana Corey and Ryan Parker Shible was held at 6 p.m. on July 1 in Puebla, Mexico. The Rev. Juan Salazar Rojo officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Shible is the daughter of Lidia Laura Lara of Tucson, Arizona and Angel Arroyo of Mexico City, Mexico. Mr. Shible is the son of Steve and Julie Shible of Farmington.
The bride wore an ivory beaded gown and carried a bouquet of multicolored flowers.
Serving as best man was Steve Shible, father of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at Hacienda de Enmedio, a 17th-century hacienda and former mill. Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Poland.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in applied linguistics from Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala in Mexico. She is a foreign language teacher and content leader at Lewiston High School. She is also a mentor teacher for the Teachers of Critical Languages Program from the Department of State in Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social sciences at the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a special education teacher at Lake Region High School.
