LEWISTON — Portland comedian Ali Simpson will headline Maine Event Comedy’s Third Thursday Showcase at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Bear Bones Beer, 43 Lisbon St.
She’ll be joined by Randy Williams, Danny Bullis, Mike Hallinan, and host Nick Gordon.
Simpson, a mainstay of the Portland comedy scene, zigzags across New England to perform comedy everywhere from ImprovBoston to the Shaskeen in New Hampshire, to some deserted pizza place in a Vermont ski town.
A new comedy open mic will follow the show, available to jokesmiths of all levels.
The show is free and for ages 21 and older.
