Acadia Academy students watch Greg Waters carve their school mascot out of a pine log during their recess at the Lewiston charter school Tuesday. Waters, of Riverside Wood Carving in Lisbon Falls, started the project in front of a student audience and finished the carving when the kids went back to class and during their recess. Students will be campaigning and voting on Election Day for what the eagle carved by Waters should be named.
