LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host a Power Lunch seminar titled Domestic Violence: What Employers Need to Know from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St.

The presenter is Kelley Glidden, director of community education for Safe Voices.

Domestic violence is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or nationality. Understanding what domestic violence is and the many ways it can show up in relationships is the first step to creating a culture that has zero tolerance for domestic violence.

Power Lunches are sponsored by Community Health Options.

The seminar is free but registration is required. Lunch will be provided. Registration is available at www.LAMetroChamber.com. FMI: 207-783-2249.
