LEWISTON — The morning sky above Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center was full of green balloons on Sunday, Oct. 15, celebrating the Colby Fund Sharing Through Experience, 14th annual Walk to Remember Infant and Fetal Loss.
Participants walked from St. Mary’s to Central Maine Medical Center, then back to St. Mary’s for the balloon release. Each balloon had a tag on it with the name of a baby who had been lost. Each tag asks whoever finds it to do a random act of kindness in honor of the baby. The tags also included an email address for contacting and sharing the random act of kindness.
