LEWISTON — Caleb Labrie scored two of his three goals in the third period to help the L/A Nordiques break a 1-1 tie and pick up a 4-1 victory over the Roc City Royals on Sunday at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Labrie scored the game-winner just 23 seconds into the third off an assist from Cole Ouellette. He notched the hat trick at 10:14. Connor Kennedy added the final goal with 23 seconds left.

Tyler Phillips scored the Royals’ lone goal on a first period power play.

Shayne Plummer finished with three assists for the Nordiques (10-3-0), while JP Chauvin and Ouellette had two apiece. 

Jason St. Pierre made 11 saves in net for the Nordiques. Josh Martinez stopped 34 shots for the Royals (1-8-0)

L/A outshot Roc City, 38-12.
