LEWISTON — Cole Ouellette opened the scoring for the Lewiston/Auburn Nordiques, who picked up where they left off Saturday night with another rout of the Long Beach Sharks on Sunday afternoon at Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Clifford Ogle scored a pair of goals and JP Chauvin added two assists in the Nordiques’ 5-0 win Sunday, which came on the heels of Saturday’s 6-0 victory. Lewiston/Auburn has now won seven straight games to lead the NA3HL’s Coastal Division with 24 points (12-3-0).

Ouellette scored his third goal of the season less than seven minutes into the first period, with assists by Joshua Malone and Chauvin, to stake the host Nordiques to a 1-0 lead after one period.

L/A broke the game open in the second, getting goals by Keagan Crawley, Ogle and Colby Audette. Kyle Secor assisted on Crawley’s goal, while Donovan Tehan and Sam Frechette had the helpers on Ogle’s first goal of the night.

Audette’s tally was unassisted with five seconds to play before the second intermission.

Ogle rounded out the scoring in the third, with assists from Chauvin and Evan Sullivan.

Carson Bonk stopped all 21 shots he faced in his debut for the Nordiques in net. Ryan Cortez made 43 saves for the Sharks (6 points, 3-11-0).

The three stars of the game went to Ogle (first star), Chauvin (second) and Bonk (third).
