NORWAY — The 2017 children’s choir rehearses for an appearance in Christmastide, the annual concert being held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, and Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
 
The 13th Annual Christmastide concert includes adult vocal and bell choirs, songs by the children’s choir, and a performance by professional dancer Debi Irons.  There will be the traditional manger tableau as well as a visit from a “right jolly old elf.”  The show is  under the choral direction of Shirli Allen Heald and bell direction and accompaniment of Elaine Emery. 
 
The concert is free to the public, but tickets are required.  Tickets are available to the public at Books-N-Things, Main Street, Norway.  Following the concert, there will be the traditional reception with Christmas goodies and punch
