SABATTUS — The Sabattus Rec Club Running Program will again be holding two Jingle Jogs this Christmas season. The first will be on the group’s regular, weekly Group Run on Wednesday, December 20, beginning at 6 p.m. at Mixer’s Nightclub on Sabattus Rd. The free Group Runs are held weekly, year-round, unless there is severe weather. There are typically two or three groups and routes/paces to choose from. The runs last between 30-60 minutes, and are open to anyone and any age/ability.

The second Jingle Jog will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23, also meeting at Mixer’s, and will start at 11 a.m. Groups will again walk/jog/run some of the village area streets and help spread some holiday cheer.

Anyone interested in getting some exercise and dressing in their favorite festive attire is welcome to join in. Lights and reflective clothing are strongly encouraged for the night run, while showing off your favorite elf outfit will be fine for the daylight jog. Bells are also a great addition. Light refreshments will be available after both events.
