JAY — A Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Jay POW/MIA Remembrance Bridge.

Members of Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335, Lane-Dube AMVETS Post 33 and George Bunten American Legion Post 10 will participate. Auxiliary and AMVETS Sons members will also take part in the service honoring those who were attacked at the U.S. Naval Base at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

A color guard will march to the center of the bridge for a wreath-laying ceremony. The AMVETS will provide an honor squad and taps will be played.

A light lunch will follow at the VFW Post on Route 133 in Jay.
