Maybe the car was trying to beat the gate coming down to stop traffic entering the Casco Bay Bridge from Portland. It didn’t quite make it unscathed.
The Maine Department of Transportation released a video Tuesday showing a car that hit the traffic control gate that was descending. According to the video, no one got hurt. And the driver reported the incident.
