AUBURN — Four varsity prep school teams from Maine will battle in the 2nd annual Maine Prep Cup at the Norway Savings Bank Arena on December 8th and 9th, 2017. The tournament is a chance for local families to experience not only prep school hockey — a fast and highly competitive brand of hockey — but also to explore the opportunities, outside of athletics, each of these schools offers. The schools will have a table of information set up in the mezzanine area. Guests are encouraged to visit the tables and speak to a representative from the schools.
In addition, all families are welcome to listen to Travis Roy speak on December 9th prior to the Championship game. There is no charge for this weekend of games. However, members of the U.S. Marines Corps will be on hand and would be gratified to accept new unwrapped toys to benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation.
The schedule of games is as follows:
Friday December 8
North Yarmouth Academy vs Kents Hill School, 5 p.m.
Hebron Academy vs Bridgton Academy, 7:10 p.m.
Saturday December 9
1:00 p.m. Consolation Game
3:15 p.m. Travis Roy Speaking Engagement.
4:30 p.m. Championship Game
