WALES — Donald Frost, 95, a longtime resident of Wales, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, Dec. 17. He was born on March 19, 1922, the son of Horatio C. and Edna L. (Cobb) Frost. He attended the schools in Monmouth. On July 30, 1949, in Monmouth, he married Shirley Ivers, of Sabattus. Donald worked at Webster Rubber in Sabattus, W.S. Libby, Town of Monmouth and Department of Transportation for State of Maine. He was also owner and operator of Frost Furniture in Wales, as well as having a small farm. Donald had a great love for animals. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Frost, of Wales; a son, Edward of Wales; three grandchildren, Mathew Frost and his wife, Tammy of Strong, Sarah Doscinski and her husband, Josh of Vienna, Daniel Frost and his wife, Sarahbelle of South Portland; five great-grandchildren; and his two sisters, Ethel Foster and Carolyn Smith. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Donald Frost Jr.; four brothers, Wesley, Isaac, Wilfred and Malcolm Frost; and two sisters, Kay Cline and Eleanor Haywood.
