AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library has announced it will help those who have a New Year’s Resolution to read more or get in shape. From the comfort of home, residents may join one of the newly launched digital Facebook groups and start the year off with success.

The Auburn Page Turners, the library’s book discussion group, has created an interactive site with postings and videos of the authors and titles they are reading. Those who cannot join in person, can go to the Auburn Public Library Advocates Facebook page, bit.ly/2BKe0c5, where they can join the Auburn Page Turners on the web.

The book the club is reading is “The Yiddish Policeman’s Union” by Michel Chabon. Readers may share thoughts, angst or questions from home.

The other interactive and fully digital venture is a health and wellness group. Focusing on general overall health and an active lifestyle, the Facebook group page will provide helpful and fun links on how to keep the body and mind in shape. Community members can join the group by clicking “join” at bit.ly/2B3aCW0.
