AUBURN — “Visions of Place: 30 Contemporary Maine Artists” will feature more than 140 paintings, prints, drawings and wood assemblages by artists from around the state.

The exhibit can be seen 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 18 to April 29, at Thomas Moser Handmade American Furniture, 149 Main St.

An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18.

The works will include landscapes, seascapes, still life, portraits and folk art, ranging in style from representational and abstract, to nonrepresentational art.

Featured artists include Janice Anthony, Liz Armstrong, Linda Bail, Andre Benoit, Alan Bray, Tom Curry, David Dewey, Melanie Essex, Kate Emlen, David Estey, Joshua Ferry, Erin McGee-Ferrell, Phillip Frey, Julie Freund, Rick Green, Michelle Hero Clarke, Anne Ireland, Bruce Kaminski, James Kucheman, Ann Mohnkern, Scott Moore, Vanessa Nesvig, John David O’Shaughnessy, Marguerite Robichaux, Judy Taylor, Lynn Travis, Emily Trenholm, Don Ripper, Michael Vermette and Chris Wriggins.
