LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Lunch Club and the Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Club will sponsor a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in partnership with the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.
April Caron of the American Red Cross will facilitate the event. Caron is the business development manager for American Red Cross Blood Services, Northern New England Region, serving the Maine region.
She has been in nonprofit leadership for over 20 years, most recently the executive director for the Central and Mid Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross, with offices in Lewiston and Topsham, and as the former director of development at the United Way of Androscoggin County.
Caron attended Wheaton College, Norton, Mass., earning a degree in international relations, and went on to obtain her master’s degree in political science from George Washington University in 1997.
