NORWAY — The Board of Selectmen will vote Thursday on whether to accept more than $60,000 from the Oxford County Regional Recycling Corp., which disbanded in 2016.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at the Town Office.

In July 2016, 12 of the 15 municipalities involved with the corporation voted to dissolve it and disburse remaining equipment and funds to the towns that had invested in it.

Chairman Warren Sessions Jr., who also served as general manager of the corporation, said all the towns who gave money to participate, including Norway and Paris, would be paid back.

“The towns all gave money to be in the corporation, based on population, and they’ll be paid back in the same way,” Sessions said. Towns that have been in “since day one, like Norway and Paris,” will receive extra, he said.
