AUBURN — Lucille (Toutain) Pelletier, age 83, of Auburn, died Friday morning, Jan. 5, at the Hospice House with family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 23, 1934, a daughter of Armand and Yvonne (Lafrance) Toutain. Lucille attended St. Peter’s School and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

She married Lawson (Pete) Pelletier at St. Peter’s Church on April 22, 1957, and remained married until Pete’s passing in 1990. Lucille worked for many years in the local shoe industry and also as a cafeteria worker at Lewiston Middle School until her retirement in 1990. Lucille attended the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul and St. Joseph’s Church of Lewiston. In her youth, Lucille was an avid bowler, participating in local leagues. Among her favorite enjoyments were summer camping vacations and visits from her grandchildren.

Lucille was a loving, devoted and hardworking wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind three children, Daniel Pelletier of Stratton, Debra (Pelletier) Gaillard and husband, Andrew, of Lewiston, and Julie Pelletier-Morlano and husband, Brian, of Greene; four grandchildren, Barry Wyman Jr., of Vermont, Myranda (Wyman) Michaud, of Lewiston, Caleb S. Morlano, of Minot AFB, North Dakota, with whom she shared an extra-special bond, and Rozlyn Morlano, of Greene; a step grandson, Jullian Gaillard, of Lewiston; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey Michaud, of Greene, and Courin Wyman, of Vermont.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Pete; a sister, Louise (Toutain) Labrecque; and her parents, Yvonne and Armand Toutain.
