WATERFORD — The Waterford Sports & Recreation Department is offering a health and wellness program at the Waterford Town Office. Director Jasmine Merrill said classes will be offered from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on either Monday or Wednesday. They are open to all residents.

Additionally, the third-Tuesday-of-the-month noontime senior luncheon will feature a health and wellness guest speaker from 11 a.m. to noon. Held at the Wilkins House, the luncheons are open to anyone, with a $3 suggested donation.

Speakers will be from the American Red Cross, Central Maine Medical Center, University of Maine Center on Aging, Stephens Memorial Hospital, SeniorsPlus and New Ventures Maine. Instructors will include tai chi with Julianne Forbes and yoga with Rose. Paula Easton of the New England Donor Services will talk about services.
