NORWAY — The Western Foothills Land Trust and local Nordic ski enthusiasts will host a Bill Koch League introduction and ski meet  at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at Roberts Farm.

Youth Nordic Ski Day will have coaching, games and fun activities followed by races. The program is for skiers ages 5 to 14. A parent or other adult should accompany the skiers as BKL is a parent-driven organization. Dress should be appropriate for the weather, and participants who need to borrow ski equipment should arrive early.

The mission of the league is to introduce young people to the lifelong sport of cross country skiing. BKL promotes deliberate play, multisport athletes, healthy competition and lifelong outdoor activity.
