LEWISTON — Police confirmed that a 13-year-old boy shot himself in the hand Saturday while he was playing with a gun.
Lewiston Police Lt. Michael McGonagle said the boy went to the hospital, was treated and released.
“It wasn’t anything too serious, but it could’ve been,” he said.
No other information was released Saturday night and the incident is under investigation.
