AUBURN — Rolande M. Prevost, 84, a resident of Schooner Estates, formerly of Lewiston, passed away at her residence peacefully Saturday, Jan. 27, with her loving family by her side, following a long illness.

She was born in Onesime, Quebec, Oct. 25, 1933, the daughter of Ernest and Aldea (Lizotte) Beaulieu. Rolande came from Canada at a young age and had resided in Brockton, Mass., for 14 years, moving to Lewiston in 1972.

She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and she also enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Survivors include one son, Norman, and wife, Giselle, of Lewiston, and their children, Danielle and Alain; two daughters, Louise Lagueux and husband, David, of Turner, and their children, Michael, Stephen and Maria, and Diane Jordan and husband, Mike, of Greene, and their children, Dayle, Danya and Deryck. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her husband, Jean-Marc, in 1990; and one son, Paul, who died in 2003.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Schooner Estates for Mom’s care. We are also very grateful to the Androscoggin Hospice team and her personal care attendant, Deanna, over the past three and a half years for their compassion.
