LEWISTON — Aline Ann Beaulieu, 81, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side Monday, Feb. 19.

She was born Sept. 2, 1936, in Lewiston, to her parents, Francois Pender and Marie Tanguay Pender. She attended Lewiston schools and in 1958 married Raymond E. Beaulieu, of Lewiston, where they raised their family.

Aline worked in local shoe shops, then decided to become a certified nurses’ aide, where she worked at Maison Marcotte. Later on, she worked at Maine Awards, from where she retired. Her most cherished job was taking care of her family.

She loved family gatherings, always making sure she made extra goodies for all of us to take home. She loved and spoiled all of her pets and enjoyed pet-sitting for others.

In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and camping, but eventually traded her pole for a needle and thread. Cross-stitching and quilting were her passions, and also meeting on a weekly basis with her dear quilting buddies creating beautiful quilts for family and friends.

Her love, kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten and we will miss her dearly.

We want to thank her Hospice caregivers for the love and support they gave us through this difficult time.
