GREENE — No one was injured during a fire Sunday morning on Nason Rock Road, Greene Fire Chief John Soucy said.
The seasonal camp was unoccupied when the fire started at 11:24 a.m., but the structure was mostly saved. Soucy said there is significant damage inside the camp.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Soucy said it does not seem suspicious.
Flames were knocked down by 11:45 a.m. Crews from Greene, Turner, Leeds, Sabattus and Monmouth responded to the scene, and the Office of State Fire Marshal has been contacted, and is expected to investigate the fire Monday.
