I am writing in support of Terry Hayes for governor. I first met her several years ago when she was campaigning for a seat in the Maine House. That first impression has stuck with me all these years.
Last fall I mused that it would be great if she decided to run for governor. Imagine my excitement when she announced her independent, Clean Election campaign. True to that first impression — a down-to-Earth campaign by a down-to-Earth candidate.
When people think about who they would most like to see in the Blaine House, I hope they will take a good look at Terry Hayes. She has a history of working across party lines to get things done. She knows how great Maine can be and is willing to work with the best of the best to get the state there, no matter their party.
