GREENWOOD — The Greenwood Farmers’ Market recently held a raffle to win donated items from vendors of the market. Local resident, Mary Walls, was the latest winner. In a note to the market, she said, “Thank you all for donating to the raffle bag. We enjoyed all the goodies, and the cauliflower micro greens were great on our salad.”

The market is in winter hours until spring, open from 4 to 6 p.m. every other Friday at the Greenwood Town Hall, Route 26. The rest of the winter schedule is March 23, April 6 and 20.

Shoppers can find a selection of local goods from greens to meats, hand-crafted small batch ravioli, artisan breads, maple syrup, gluten-free baked goods, original art, handmade soaps and more. Free coffee and tea are available.

The Town of Greenwood had Wi-Fi installed in the building, so now most of the vendors can accept credit cards.

Visit and like the Facebook page @Greenwoodfarmmarket for weekly updates. Contact Suzanne Dunham for more information and to set up at the market, 207-665-2967, dunhamfarm@msn.com.
