GREENE (WGME) — Crews are battling an overnight fire in the town of Greene.
The fire began around 3:45 a.m. Monday at 57 Patten Road, just off Route 202.
Firefighters said two people were inside the home at the time. They were able to get out safely, but one firefighter was being treated for minor injuries related to smoke inhalation.
Mutual aid from several towns was called in to assist.
There is no word yet on what started the fire.
