SCARBOROUGH — Anita Daigle, 88, formerly of Rumford, passed away Saturday, March 10, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
She was born in Mexico on Oct. 28, 1929, a daughter of Lazare and Rose (Turmel) Daigle. Anita was a former communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Mexico.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the LeParrasseux Snowshoe Club. Anita loved bowling and making jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving are a brother, Maurice O. Daigle, and wife, Pat, of Rumford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, John Paul and Peter Daigle; and a sister, Alice Goulet.
