AUBURN — Agathe Sutton, 99, a resident of 751 Washington St. North, formerly of Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, March 20, at the Sarah Frye Home, after a short illness, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Grand Isle, Dec. 3, 1918, the daughter of Francis and Vitaline (Thibodeau) Berube. She was employed at the former Continental Mill until its closing in 1961, and continued her career at Paragon Glass making Christmas ornaments until her retirement.

Agathe enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.

Survivors include her son, James E. Sutton, and wife, Lucille, of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Tricia Sutton Walsh, of Berlin, N.H.; as well as two great-grandchildren, Mickailey and Jamison Walsh.

She was predeceased by her husband, Emilio D. Sutton, who died in 1996; as well as four brothers; and two sisters.
