AUBURN — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host Business Before Hours at 7 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at House of Bacon, 34 Court St.
There is no registration or cost to attend. Members are welcome to stop by anytime between 7 and 9 a.m. for food, fun, networking and prizes.
At 5 p.m. Thursday, April 19, the chamber will host Breakfast for Dinner at Martindale Country Club, 527 Beech Hill Road. There are opportunities for networking before the program starts. New members will be introduced, plus a speaker, 50/50 drawing and door prizes.
The speaker will be Alan Hahnel, president of Hahnel Bros. Co. His topic will be Working the Workforce: Challenges and Solutions to Finding Employees. Like many employers in the region, Hahnel Bros. is facing a workforce shortage to meet the demands of the growing economy. Hahnel has successfully utilized a number of local programs to find and keep employees.
Cost is $20 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Registration is available at www.LAMetroChamber.com.
