MECHANIC FALLLS — Our Lady of Ransom Church will have a guest speaker, Teresa McCann-Tumidajski, at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8. Her topic will be “Abortion, the Silent Killler.”
McCann-Tumidajski is executive director of Maine Right to Life and president of the board of directors. She has been an advocate of pro-life and involved with pro-life issues for decades.
She served as chairwoman for the Cathedral Millennium Restoration Project in Portland, raising $1.2 million. She has also served as statewide Catholic Campaign manager for two statewide pro-life referenda in 1999 and 2000: the Ban on Partial Birth Abortion and the Physician Assisted Suicide Initiative, which were defeated.
