LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Schools has announced the registration schedule for the 2018-2019 pre-kindergarten classes.
Each child must be born between Oct. 16, 2013 and Oct. 15, 2014. To register children, parents and guardians will need to bring required documentation: child’s official birth certificate, an I-94 or green card if the child was not born in the U.S., immunization records and proof of residency such as a driver’s license with school appropriate address, lease or rent agreement, utility bills or mortgage agreement. It is not necessary to bring the child to the pre-kindergarten registration.
Information meetings and registrations will take place on Wednesday, May 9, at:
Longley Elementary School: 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Farwell Elementary School: 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Martel Elementary School: 5:30 to 7 p.m. at McMahon Elementary School.
McMahon Elementary School: 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Montello Elementary School: 6 to 7 p.m.
Geiger Elementary School: 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Parents who are not available on May 9 can make arrangements by contacting their home school or they can call the superintendent’s office at 207-795-4103 for more information.
If a lottery is needed, it will be based on all students enrolled on June 1 and be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at the Lewiston Public Schools Central Office, 36 Oak St.
