ANDOVER (WGME) — For the second consecutive night, a vacant house in the Oxford County town of Andover was destroyed by a fire that investigators are calling suspicious.
The fire at 28 South Main St. was reported about 11:16 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters found a barn engulfed in flames, which were moving toward the front of the house.
Both buildings were destroyed in the fire a little more than a day after another vacant house was lost to fire on North Main Street.
Several towns responded in support of the Andover Fire Department. No firefighter was injured.
Crews left the scene after about five hours.
