LEWISTON — Jacqueline M. Mathieu, 81, of Montello Heights, passed away Thursday, April 12. She was born Oct. 1, 1936, in Lewiston, the daughter of Romauld and Imelda Bilodeau Samson.
Jacqueline worked at Clark Shoe, the Multi-Purpose Center and St. Mary’s Hospital. On June 30, 1956, she married Gerard A. Mathieu. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in Lewiston.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gerard; her brother, Fernand Samson; and her sister, Fleurette Rioux.
She is survived by her son, Larry Mathieu, and his wife, Diane; two daughters, Linda Caouette and her partner, Steve Roy, and Tina Carrier and her husband, Andre; six grandchildren, Jonathan Mathieu and wife, Sandra, Brianna Bourgeois and her husband, Richard, Justin Caouette and his partner, Krista Laverdiere, Dustin Carrier and his wife, Sheena, Devin Carrier and wife, Whitney, and Mariah Carrier; great-grandchildren, Richard Bourgeois Jr., Sophie Bourgeois, Emily Caouette, Declan Carrier and Everly Carrier.
