I am an independent who is going to switch for the primary so I can vote for Jared Golden.
He is a young man who joined the Marines, served in Iraq and Afghanistan and understands the investment veterans have made in this country.
He believes legislators can both make this country safer by enacting common sense laws to prevent violent people from obtaining combat weapons and preserve the spirit of the Second Amendment.
He believes that this country can find a way to give access to affordable health care.
He believes that the guy or gal who works with his/her hands contributes as much to the economy and quality of life and should also share proportionally in the benefits.
He is an experienced legislator in the Maine House of Representatives, serving as assistant majority leader.
Bruce Poliquin does not address my concerns.
