AUBURN — William J. Rogers Post 153, American Legion, 71 South Main St., has announced activities for May. Members and guests are welcome.
Happy Hour: 4 to 6 p.m. Fridays, appetizers will be served.
Music, Dance and Karaoke: 7 to 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, featuring DJ Jean Louis; 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays, May 4 and 18, music by Jerry Joe
Cinco de Mayo: 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, the post will be serving tacos to celebrate.
Fallen Saints Motorcycle Club Bike Run: Sunday, May 6, beginning at Maine Veterans Home, South Paris, and finishing at the post, weather permitting. Post members will be selling food.
Monthly Meeting: 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16. Cash prize drawings of $100, $50 and $25 will be held.
Odyssey of the Mind Breakfast Buffet: 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, May 20. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Cost is $7; $4 children under age 10. Edward Little High School and Auburn Middle School have advanced to the national competition and they are raising funds to support their trip to Iowa.
