WALES — Micaela-Lynn M. Lagasse, 15, of Wales returned home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 26, 2002. She grew up in the Wales area and was currently attending Oak Hill High School in Sabattus.

Micaela was a free-spirited, bright, funny and beautiful young girl who will always be remembered for her unique personality and joy of spending quality time with her friends, watching TV, especially “NCIS Los Angeles,” which was one of her many favorites. She also favored reading books, loved the beauty and strength of horses, listening to music, macaroni and cheese and Cheez-Its.

Micaela loved animals, mostly her pets, which included two dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon and a fish. She also found great relaxation and enjoyment in camping and swimming. She will be deeply missed by so many.

She is survived by her parents, Demetrius and Jessica Starks of Wales; her biological father, Michael Lagasse; her maternal grandparents, Linda Mattson and Scott Walker; her maternal great-grandmother, Audrey Shepherd; and her paternal grandmother, Jolynn Starks. She also leaves behind her dear siblings Majesta (her identical twin), Alayna, Tiannah, Teneyce, Demyah and Julian; her stepsister, Taysha; two of her very best of friends, Tia Connor and Kylie Burns; her aunts and uncles Christine, Stephanie Mattson, Anthony and Jennifer Clark, Katina and Jetaime Mungin, Patricia Dupree, Timmy, Sammy, Jason and Joel Mungin; as well as her cousins Jazz-Lynn, Autumn, Day-Lynn, Nathan, Anthony Jr., Paisley, Sky, Serenity and Tyrese.
