GRAY — The Maine Wildlife Park on Route 26 is holding an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8. Admission is free.
The park has over 30 species of native wildlife on display, plus gardens, nature trails, a fish hatchery snack shack, and interactive exhibits and displays.
Maine Game Wardens will be the focus of programs and activities Saturday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and have photos taken with wardens and their canines, learn about the equipment they use and view the Wall of Shame poaching display. The Maine Warden Service Foundation will sell merchandise with proceeds assisting the needy in the community.
