LIVERMORE FALLS — The deadline to sign up for the Spruce Mountain Summer Recreation program, which will be held at the AYS Building, is June 20. Competed registrations should be returned to the Jay or Livermore Falls Town Offices.

Program director Sally Boivin said the deadline is needed so she can hire an appropriate number of counselors.

The Spruce Mountain Summer Recreation program is open to children entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall. There is a fee to participate.

The 6-week program runs from Monday, June 25 through Friday, Aug. 3. It runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fridays. The program will not be held July 4-6.

Free breakfast is available at 8:45 a.m. daily. Lunch will be provided daily.

Each Friday features a different dress up theme. America, Hawaii, Hat and Mis-match Days are this year’s themes. Prizes will be awarded. On the last Friday, Aug. 3, a talent show and barbecue will be held.

Trips to Narrow Gauge Cinema, Aero Air Trampoline, Aquaboggan, Tabor’s Mini Golf, Dummer’s Beach and Funtown/Splashtown are planned.

Boivin said Androscoggin County 4-H Youth Development will be holding fun science programs for students entering grades 3-5.
