LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will hold a Power Trip to view Geiger’s new solar array from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Geiger, 70 Mount Hope Ave.
Business owners, homeowners, employees and community members are invited to join ReVision Energy and Geiger for the tour. The grid-tied ground-mount system produces 303,000 kilowatt-hours annually, drastically reducing Geiger’s energy costs. Geiger and ReVision Energy will go over the planning and execution of the system, and discuss how other businesses can make the transition to clean energy.
Presenters are Peter Geiger, owner and executive vice president at Geiger, and Geoff Sparrow, director of engineering at ReVision Energy.
