ROSEMONT, Ill. — Lewiston native Isaiah Harris has been named the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year, the conference announced this week.

The Penn State junior won the 800-meter national championship last week. Last month, he claimed his third straight 800 title at the Big Ten outdoor track and field championships by running a meet and facility record time.

Harris, a 2015 Lewiston High School graduate, is the first Nittany Lion to earn the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year award, and only the third from the school to win a conference athlete of the year award.
