LEWISTON —  Maine Event Comedy presents James Theberge at Bear Bones Beer, Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. He’ll be joined by fellow comics Tyler Morrow, Leonard Kimble, Quentin Johnson and host Dee Turcotte. An open-mic will follow the show.

Lewiston’s Theberge recently spent a weekend opening for nationally touring comedian Rich Vos.  He took second-place in the Summer Comedy Competition at Empire in Portland and was featured in the Portland Maine Comedy Festival. He’s also performed at The Burren and The Hideout in Boston.

Morrow co-hosts the “No Recipes” web series, where comedians are presented all the ingredients to cook something, sans recipe. He’s performed at New York City’s Greenwich Village Comedy Club and is a regular at Dick Doherty’s Comedy Den.

A recent graduate of the Stand-up Comedy Workshop at Lewiston Adult Ed, Kimble is a newcomer to the Maine scene set to make his showcase debut at Bear Bones.

Johnson, a regular at the Annoyance Theater in his hometown Chicago, joins the fun with his Maine comedy debut.

Following a short break from stand-up, Turcotte returns to the stage, primed and ready to share insights and anecdotes about life and love.

The show is free and for ages 21 and older. Bear Bones Beer is located at 43 Lisbon St., Lewiston. FMI call 207-513-0742 or e-mail maineeventcomedy@gmail.com.
