LEWISTON — Wicked Illustrations Studio and Gallery will hold an opening reception for its summer exhibition, “A Walk in the Garden,” Friday, June 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wine will accompany the beautiful garden-themed art from local artists, including paintings, sculpture, origami art, interactive and assemblage art.
The featured artist is Jelisa Hamilton of Moxie Origami designs. Hamilton is a visually impaired artist who began losing her sight in 2016. She works inches away from her canvas and uses magnification. Her bold colors and botanical designs are perfect focal pieces for this show.
Displaying with Hamilton are artists Mae Billington, Kate Cargile, Corrina Tancrede, Melanie Therrien, Cheryl Savage and DuForge Studio.
Work will be on display from June through August. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. Free on-site parking.

Wicked Illustrations is located at 140 Canal St. FMI www.wickedillustrations.com
