People try justifying illegally sending poor kids across borders to the United States in hopes of a better life. What about our kids?

Giving kids to someone else to raise and learn a trade (indentured servants) or sending the kids to work at the mills and shoe shops at 8 or 9 years old isn’t allowed anymore (as far as I know).

According to Hollywood movies, there are other options that could give them a better or wealthier life (if things work out), like prostitution and drugs, which also pay well (sarcasm added).

Shoplifting, petty theft, bank robbery, welfare fraud and insurance scams can also can have big payoffs (more sarcasm).

The only problem is they are all illegal. The parents get arrested or the Department of Health and Human Services takes the kids away from such households that allow or promote these behaviors.

Almost any action can be “justified” if you try hard enough. Freedom of speech was great when the radicals wanted to burn the U.S. flag or BLM radicals promoted cop hating, but was a horrible thing when the KKK and supremists had their rallies.

Be careful of what you wish for. It could backfire down the road.
