WATERFORD — The Waterford Grange will hold a craft and white elephant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7, on Route 35 beside the North Waterford Post Office.

There will be an assortment of hand knit hats and mittens, as well as other crafts made by members and friends, books, toys and more. 

Money raised will go to making needed repairs to the historic building as well as supporting several local charities.

WAYNE — The Wayne Community Church auction will be held July 6 to 8. Items may be viewed at tiny.cc/auction2018.

An Opening Celebration will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Androscoggin Yacht Club, 22 Lake St. and will feature entertainment by Mike Ladd, free refreshments and a live auction.

The silent auction will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7, and from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Wayne Community Church, 22 Old Winthrop Road. Silent auction bidding and buy-it-now prices will be available at all silent auction bidding times.

Items for bid include many restaurant and excursion gift certificates, Maine and regional goods and services, and sports memorabilia, including a signed, framed picture of Tom Brady and Red Sox tickets behind home plate.

A catered chicken dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at the church. It will feature kids’ activities from 4 to 7 p.m. and a steel band. Cost to attend is $10 for adults and $6 for children 11 and younger.

WAYNE — The next First Saturday at the Williams House will feature the fourth annual yard sale along with the usual book sale, boutique and breakfast.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 7, at 14 Old Winthrop Road rain or shine.

PARIS — The Oxford Hills Rotary Club will hold its 29th annual Live Charity Auction  Saturday, July 14, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local projects and organizations like May Day Play Day, soup kitchens, high school scholarships and international projects like Polo Plus.

The auction preview will start at 9 a.m., box lot auction at 9:30 a.m. and the live auction starts at 10 a.m.

There will be food, music and deals on local gift certificates, furniture and more. Donations for the auction can be made by calling Paul Thornfeldt at 207-592-4663.

PARIS — The Foster-Carroll American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 72, will hold an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, on Church Street. 

The 8-foot tables are $10. Interested individuals who wish to reserve one or more tables may call Lillian at 207-739-9530. 

The lunch counter will be open for lunch, and baked goods will be for sale.
