AUGUSTA — Evan Cox pitched a complete game as Pastime Club defeated Augusta 6-1 in American Legion baseball action Thursday.
Cox struck out eight batters and allowed only two hits and two walks in seven innings.
Brock Belanger and Nick Lerette had three hits apiece and Hunter Landry had two for unbeaten Pastime (5-0). Belanger, Landry, Lerette and Jack Leblond each hit a double.
Augusta falls to 5-3 with the loss.
Pastime hosts rival Rogers Post for a doubleheader Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Elliott Field.
