NORWAY — The 51st annual Norway Music and Arts Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 14, on Main Street. This year, the festival has expanded its focus to include a variety of performance art and activities for all ages.

Musical headliners will include bluesman Samuel James, the New Orleans Jazz Band sounds of the Hadacol Bouncers, Americana from the Lazzlo Family Band and up-tempo bluegrass from the Muddy Marsh Ramblers. The dance stage will include performances from the Nevaeh Dance Circus, Droplet Dance, Veeva Banga and the Gypsy Rose Tribe.

Video artists this year include Jack Gentempo, A Minor and Johnny Crashedwill in the video arts tent. Local poets will be reading on the Mountain Poets stage and local theater group OHMPAA will showcase local theater on the Cabaret Stage. Street performers will include local jug band Slims Got the Blues, punk/folk/storytelling of Max Random, saxaphone/flute from Don Johnson, accordian player Dawson Hill, juggler/magician Steve Corning and Seussland, an area designed to entertain kids.

This event will also feature more than 100 local artists, crafters and nonprofit organizations, as well as local food vendors.
