In addition to the regular five-concert series at Deertrees Theatre in Harrison, Tuesday evenings, July 17 through Aug. 14, the Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival’s board of trustees announces an expansion of the festival’s Community Outreach Program.

These community concerts are different and sometimes shorter, with an emphasis on education or healing. Concerts are free to dedicated audiences or by donation only. The festival will hold community concerts in Auburn, Bridgton, Falmouth, Norway and South Paris, and will continue its annual repeat concert on Chebeague Island.

For the first time, the festival will be partnering with the Bridgton Historical Society in celebrating Bridgton’s 250th anniversary, at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Historic Farmstead Temperance Barn at Narramissic in South Bridgton. This program is sponsored by the Maine Humanities Council, the Maine Arts Commission and Davis Family Foundation.

Other programs include:

Discover the Joys of Classical Music — 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, Auburn United Methodist Church; 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Temple Shalom Synagogue Center in Auburn; and 7 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Bridgton.
