LEWISTON — The a cappella vocal ensemble VoXX: Voice of Twenty will perform the final concert of their summer series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
The series, “Music of the Spirit,” takes audiences on a journey through time and space with a repertoire spanning the centuries. Their performance will include pieces by Palestrina, William Byrd, Thomas Tallis and Ralph Vaughan Williams as well as a version of “Ave Maria Stella” by living composer James Macmillan.
VoXX will also present three short pieces in Old Church Slavonic.
Tickets are $15, available at the door.
