POLAND — The Poland Spring Preservation Society will be hosting the Maine Highland Fiddlers at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 23. Like all concerts in the Sunset Concert series, it takes place outside at the gazebo in Poland Spring Resort. In case of rain, concerts will be held in the All Soul’s Chapel. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The Maine Highland Fiddlers are part of a traditional Celtic music revival that thrives throughout the North Atlantic rim. Along with fiddles, the group of seven musicians includes guitar, bodhran (Irish-frame drum) and piano. Their music follows the Celtic tradition.

There is no admission fee and there is ample parking. Suggested donation is $5. Water is provided and hot dogs will be for sale. Concerts are held at 55 Robbins Way, Poland Spring.

For more information please call the Preservation Society at 998-4142 or email contact@polandspringmuseums.org.
